Description: McDonald's maintenance personnel are very important people, and for good reason. They are essential to upholding McDonald's unmatched reputation for cleanliness. By keeping the restaurant premises and surrounding areas clean and attractive, they help to form that all-important, positive first impression for each McDonald's customer. A competent, reliable maintenance person is essential to every McDonald's restaurant. The maintenance person is responsible for general (janitorial) maintenance. General maintenance includes the cleaning and upkeep of the entire restaurant and its surroundings. Inside the restaurant general maintenance includes cleaning the floors, walls, windows, dining area, restrooms, furniture and fixtures, lighting, counters, stockroom, basement, and signage. Outside the restaurant, general maintenance includes cleaning and upkeep of the building, Drive-thru areas, PlayPlace, parking lot, landscaping, signage, sidewalks, and gutters. General maintenance is a big job and an important one. A dedicated maintenance person can keep the restaurant environment in good order. Applicant should be at least 18 years old, be able to follow written instructions and have an eye for detail, capable of lifting 30-50 lbs and climbing ladders.
